We are seeking someone who has developed their skills and experience working in a similar team management role, across one or more areas of case-handling, complaints, policing, legal, investigative or customer service roles. We can develop you in the specifics of Student Casework, just let us see that you have the ability to transfer your skills and experience to this new role.
You will have experience in team leadership with the ability to build a high-performance culture in a service area with deadlines, service expectations and challenging cases. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and be proficient in operational planning, establishing clear priorities, service standards and new ways of working whilst engaging and empowering staff.
Academic Registry is one of the University of South Wales’ (USW) professional service departments, delivering a range of key administration and information services for students throughout their studies, from enrolment to graduation. We also oversee the University's arrangements for academic quality assurance and enhancement and provide casework services for students.
This is a full-time permanent role. The University is currently operating a hybrid model of working; however, you will be expected to work on campus for part of the week. While the role will be based in Academic Registry at Pontypridd, you may also be required to work at the University’s other campuses at Cardiff and Newport.
