About the role:
We are looking for a proactive Technical Project Manager to join our growing team, to help us coordinate the execution of product development. In the role you will work with stakeholders across, Engineering, Product and our Founder team, working in 4 week development cycles. This is a perfect opportunity for a startup or scale-up Project Manager to bring their expertise into the exciting field of artificial intelligence.
This position can be based either fully-remote in Europe, or Hybrid in London, depending on your preference.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that product delivery is stable and predictable by establishing clear processes and workflows, monitoring progress, and proactively addressing issues that could impact delivery timelines.
Development of contingency plans to mitigate potential issues that may arise during the project's lifecycle, and the ownership and facilitation of Scrum ceremonies.
Help the Engineering team achieve a high level of performance and quality, while holding teams accountable for their work and removing obstacles.
Manage Cross-Team Dependencies, while tracking, communicating and maintaining risks and issues, during project delivery.
Track project and product development progress, update stakeholders on the status, and report on delivery metrics such as milestones, deliverables, and risks
Manage proper communication with stakeholders (inclunding changes into delivery timelines and ensuring that any changes are communicated to stakeholders and incorporated into the delivery plan)
Support teams in transition to the new processes or delivery workflows, while driving continuous improvement by suggesting processes and tools upgrades.
Identify areas of waste in the product development process and work to reduce them
Requirements:
3+ years experience working as a Project Manager on similar technical projects with a proven track record of successfully managing product development projects.
Previous experience in a technology startup or scale-up during a period of fast growth.
Strong knowledge of the product development process, including a good understanding of software development methodologies and tools.
Demonstrated experience in Agile software delivery, with a minimum required Scrum experience.
Hands-on experience in managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively identify and address delivery risks and issues, as well as identifying and managing project dependencies.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate project updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders at all levels.
Working knowledge of Linear or Jira and Scrum Master experience is an advantage.
