Refresco, the world’s largest independent soft drinks manufacturer are recruiting Warehouse Operatives (Forklift Truck Drivers) for our Kegworth Site. You will play an important role in making sure some of the best-known drink’s brands in the UK are manufactured to the right quality and delivered on time to our many customers. About the Role
You will be part of a supportive team, led by a Warehouse Shift Manager and Warehouse Team Leaders ,working with colleagues who will help you settle in, find your way around and show you the ropes.
As our Warehouse Operative your main tasks and duties will be:
- Running effective operation of FLT equipment (VNA training provided)
- Cleaning lubrication and basic maintenance of FLT equipment to agreed standards.
- Correct handling, storage of materials to Refresco standards, whilst minimising waste.
- Operating Materials Handling Equipment in accordance with Company MHE Standards
- Supporting the delivery of key performance indicators for the Factory linked to Safety, Quality, People, Delivery and Cost Standards
- Pro-actively identifying areas for continuous improvement within the work environment/equipment systems.
- Management of returns process/FIFO ingredients/pallet rotation and cycle count processes and audits.
Salary and Benefits
You will be paid an hourly rate of £10.22 in addition to shift allowance and a £0.97 per hour additional supplement (up to and including 31st August 2023), which as an annual salary is £26.296.32. Your shift pattern will be 3 on 3 off, 12 hour shifts (6-6) days and nights. In addition, you will have 2 x your annual base salary life assurance, a good company pension scheme, a sports and social fund and free on-site car parking.

About You
You are going to be part of the Refresco team at Kegworth, so it’s important you work and communicate well with your colleagues, support them when needed, take time to understand what they do, and learn how we all contribute to achieving our goals.
For the role of Warehouse Operative you will need some experience of operating MHE (FLT, Counterbalance, VNA etc). It is also an advantage if you have experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
