Job Description
The Boltons Care Home in Reading is looking for an experienced Night Care Assistant for three nights(3 nights) per week. To promote and deliver personalised care and to create and promote a calm and trusting atmosphere throughout the night. You will work within a team ensuring to maintain residents' dignity, independence and personal safety.
Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Support residents with all aspects of personal care, whilst promoting and maintaining independence.
- To identify and meet the social, emotional and cultural needs of residents and participate in the organisation of person-centred engagement.
- Support residents to use the environment to its full potential, including the outdoor living space.
- To understand the home Care policies and procedures.
- To ensure the home is safe and secure throughout the night.
- To ensure that all night documentations are completed and signed for.
Desirable attributes:
- Ability to communicate well, both written and verbally.
- A pro-active individual who is able to work within a team.
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload.
- Interest in development and learning new skills
- Experience in care required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £10.50-£11.00 per hour
