Job Description
TRUSEAL PLASTICS GROUP are recruiting for an experienced credit controller at our Head Office in Langley Mill, Nottingham. Part time to cover maternity leave.
Duties of the Credit Controller will include:
- Taking a proactive role in chasing outstanding invoices where appropriate by telephone and email
- Maintain accurate notes on system relating to all communication.
- Investigating and resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices
- Ensuring timely payments of debts, and placing accounts on hold where appropriate
- To use own initiative and imagination to achieve excellent ongoing customer relationships.
- To evaluate new credit requests and reviewing customer credit accounts on a daily basis where necessary
- Sending out PODs where requested.
- Weekly invoice runs to be carried out.
- Reporting all issues to directors in a timely manner
- Using money claim online
- Attending court if required on disputed claims
- Monthly statements to be issued via emails and post.
- Reconciliations and allocations of payments
- Checking Bankline for payments that may have come in throughout the day.
- Checking branches for unallocated payments, and allocating where able to
What we are looking for
The successful candidate will have:
- A proven background is desired, (at least 18 months preferred in a credit control environment)
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- A proactive and driven attitude
- Ability of problem-solving skills.
- The ability to multitask.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Ability to work on own
