We are looking for a talented Philanthropy Manager to help us develop a major donor pipeline in Scotland, and secure 5 figure + donations. This is a key position within a high-performing and supportive fundraising team. You will lead the development of a growing income stream and take responsibility for our philanthropy fundraising strategy. Not only will this exciting role give you lots of opportunity for personal development, but you will also help to change the future for thousands of children in Scotland.

This role sits within the Partnerships and Philanthropy Team, where workplace culture is collaborative and inclusive, and where we value transparency, flexibility, trustworthiness, tenacity, drive and the ability to act as an ambassador for the team and the wider charity. This role is part of the wider Scotland Fundraising Team.

You will have experience and success in developing individual relationships to achieve results within a fundraising or relationship management environment. You will be committed to maximising income generation, and you will have experience of delivering cultivating donors or prospects and providing excellent stewardship.

If you are the right person for this post, you are likely to have a proven track record of delivery against targets and be organised and results driven.

Whilst the role is primarily home based, the successful candidate will have regular travel across Scotland, particularly in the central belt and occasional travel to other parts of the UK for other meetings/training.

In return, we can offer a flexible working arrangement to ensure a healthy work/life balance. The successful candidate may wish to work from our offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh, or Aberdeen. Individual circumstances can be discussed at interview.

We also offer a variety of benefits including 29 days annual leave + bank holidays, employee benefits and assistance programme, generous matched pension, and life assurance schemes. We also offer a diverse range of training and development opportunities to help the successful candidate advance in this role, and their career.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the UK's leading children's charity and work alongside a friendly, passionate, and dedicated team. If you share our passion about the impact you can create for children, we'd love to hear from you.
