Location: Home Based and/or Hybrid (Scotland). The successful candidate will need to be within easy commuting distance of Aberdeen, Edinburgh or Glasgow as regular contact with prospects and donors will be required.
We are looking for a talented Philanthropy Manager to help us develop a major donor pipeline in Scotland, and secure 5 figure + donations. This is a key position within a high-performing and supportive fundraising team. You will lead the development of a growing income stream and take responsibility for our philanthropy fundraising strategy. Not only will this exciting role give you lots of opportunity for personal development, but you will also help to change the future for thousands of children in Scotland.
This role sits within the Partnerships and Philanthropy Team, where workplace culture is collaborative and inclusive, and where we value transparency, flexibility, trustworthiness, tenacity, drive and the ability to act as an ambassador for the team and the wider charity. This role is part of the wider Scotland Fundraising Team.
You will have experience and success in developing individual relationships to achieve results within a fundraising or relationship management environment. You will be committed to maximising income generation, and you will have experience of delivering cultivating donors or prospects and providing excellent stewardship.
If you are the right person for this post, you are likely to have a proven track record of delivery against targets and be organised and results driven.
Whilst the role is primarily home based, the successful candidate will have regular travel across Scotland, particularly in the central belt and occasional travel to other parts of the UK for other meetings/training.
