Working for our Brandon Hire Station division, alongside the Financial Controller, your main responsibility is assist all areas of the finance function with main support focusing on treasury.
What you will be doing…
Our Finance Assistant’s provide excellent customer service through the development of good relationships with the operations, sales and support functions, making the resolution of queries an easy process. The queries/duties will range from the processing of sales ledger receipts to reviewing and reconciliation of branch banking including escalation of any banking anomalies. Other duties will include review of credit card transactions, processing bank payments and transfers and day to day management of the company’s bank accounts. You’ll do this by fostering an environment of good communication between Credit Control, Operational Management, Sales Management and the Branch network.
Do you have what it takes…
You’ll have excellent attention to detail and organisation skills and ideally some experience of procedures in a finance environment. Experience of bank reconciliations would also be an advantage although this can be learnt.
Most importantly we’re looking for someone who wants to develop in this role and really make it their own, we’re also able to offer study support for anyone wanting to take or progress in AAT or other financial qualifications.
