Achilleus Security are NOW looking to Recruit Event / Football Event SIA Licensed Door Supervisors in the Essex & Suffolk Area for work at events and venues.
We are welcoming applications from people that would like to join us Achilleus Security (East) as Part Time Casual Event / Football SIA Door Supervisors.
Our Event / Football Safety Team are the lifeblood of our company and a vital part of any event or venue's Security, Safety, and Customer Service Team. So, this position is only open to the right candidates, that have an enthusiasm and a desire to work, and those that can meet the company's strict recruitment criteria.
Our team members can also enjoy working at both inside and outdoor events and venues, throughout the Suffolk, Area & with the added opportunity to work at Events and Venues in Greater London and the Home Counties areas if they choose.
The type of work is varied and is as and when required.

Our team of Event / Football SIA Door Supervisor Team must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Spectator Safety Qualification (or equivalent) but don't worry if you don't have one yet as we will help and support you to gain that for free.)

Our Rates of Pay Are:
SIA Licensed Door Supervisors Will Receive:
For team members that do not an NVQ Level 2 in Spectator Safety
- Event / Football Security - In Training with SIA DS Licence £12.72 per hour
- For Suitable Candidates In Training, There are SIA Response Team Positions £13.84 per hour
For team members that do hold NVQ or equivalent Level 2 in Spectator Safety
- Event / Football Security Search Teams - Qualified with SIA Licence £12.03 per hour
- Event / Football Security - Qualified with SIA Licence £13.30 per hour
- For Suitable Candidates, There are SIA Response Team Positions From Up to £14.37 per hour
All pay rates inclusive of holiday pay.
- We are also looking for car / minibus drivers* £11.95ph for driving hours
- All rates are inclusive of holiday pay
- Minimum 5 Hours Pay for every shift
- Time and Half / double pay on public holidays
*Conditions do apply, Full Clean Driving license, Age etc

Applicants For This Position of Event / Football SIA Door Supervisor Must Be:
- Over 18 Years of age
- Have a good command of the English Language both written and verbal
- Hold a Level 2 or 3 Spectator Safety Qualification or Equivalent or be prepared to be working towards this qualification.
- Willing to work as part of a growing team.
- Prepared to develop their skills for the role via Continued Professional Development with our support
- Any work offered in London or Home Counties will include free travel

- Able to provide a 5-year minimum checkable history – Vital Requirement!
- Aware that the role includes mostly weekend and evening shift availability
We pay above National Minimum Wage Rates, and pay rates are dependent on position, qualification, venue, and role, and 100% of the assignments offer a 5-hour minimum pay (call time), All our team members are employed on a PAYE Tax basis, and sadly due to HMRC Guidelines we do not except those that are Self Employed even with UTR number.
WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES
This role will see you as responsible within a for the safety and security of employees and customers at events and venues that we work at.
You will be interacting with the public and employees within the events spaces and locations, along with communicating and directing customers, the public and guests, along with general crowd control / monitoring. You are also responsible for ensuring event / stadium policies, rules and safety procedures are adhered to.
Regular Tasks & Duties Include:
- General Customer Services.
- Monitoring access and egress points.
- Providing Information and direction.
- Ensuring crowd safety plans and procedures are adhered to.
- Reporting any suspicious behaviour.
- Monitoring Crowds for distress, overcrowding and disorder.
- Ingress control – ticket validation, accreditation checks, and queries.
- Egress control – Observing safe egress from areas, including emergency evacuation.
- Reporting and recording details of accidents, irregularities, near misses, or incidents.
- Responding to accidents, incidents as directed.
- Maintaining safe working environments, and health and safety management.

WORKING IN GREATER LONDON OR HOME COUNTIES AREA.
We are very lucky enough to provided Security & Stewarding services to a number of large stadiums and events, that include Wembley Stadium, Twickenham Stadium, Queens Park Rangers, and many other large stadiums for events such as Football, Rugby, Boxing, Concerts and Public Events. Working at events outside your area isn't compulsory, but if you agree to work then travel to and from the events to a local meeting area would be provided FREE OF CHARGE.
