Job Description
DTD Live is the media operation of the largest poker room in the UK, Dusk Till Dawn.
Job Overview: The camera operator / videographer will be responsible for capturing high-quality video footage of live poker games for a new streaming platform. The ideal candidate should have experience in operating cameras and an understanding of the game of poker.
Responsibilities:
- Operate camera equipment to capture footage of live poker games
- Follow the direction of the director to ensure proper framing, focus, and exposure
- Monitor camera feeds to ensure that all shots are of the highest quality
- Coordinate with other camera operators to capture multiple angles of the game
- Set up camera equipment, including tripods, cameras, cables, and lighting
- Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of camera equipment
- Assist in the setup and striking of the production equipment
Requirements:
- Experience in camera operation and video production
- Understanding of poker game and rules is desirable
- Familiarity with camera equipment and software
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings / nights
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Experience of moving and setting up camera equipment
Additional:
- Familiarity with live streaming platforms is a plus
- Understanding of poker game and rules is desirable
Salary will be competitive and based on experience. The position will require working some weekends and evenings / nights. Applicants should submit their CV alongside a showreel of their previous experience to be considered for the position.
