About the Role:
Following unprecedented growth in student recruitment at ARU, you will be part of a growing team of talented and professional Schools and Colleges Engagement & Development Officers, and will operate from our Chelmsford, Cambridge, and Peterborough campuses, as well as throughout the Eastern Region with some working from home. Your primary role is to lead ARU’s relationship engaging with target sixth forms and FE colleges, supporting their students with their higher education and degree apprenticeship choices and, ultimately, to influence them to apply to ARU. Working with and reporting to the Head of Schools and Colleges Engagement you’ll deliver in line with our schools and colleges engagement strategy and will implement agreed plans. You’ll deliver joint objectives and support Corporate Marketing and Faculty colleagues to deliver events.
With a degree plus demonstrable professional experience or relevant professional qualification, you will be a good communicator, with strong integrity and recognise and display the benefits of a collaborative approach and excellent customer service. Ideally, you will have previous Higher/Further Education experience, and/or will come from a customer-facing background, you will possess a sound knowledge of MS applications and you’ll need to be comfortable with contributing and adapting to change driven by sector developments and our own continuous improvement approach.
