Job Description

We are looking to recruit Band 2, Health Care Assistants. Hours of work are 37.5 hours per week to fit the service, however part time will be considered.

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and caring individuals who are able to work within the operating theatres at Bassetlaw Theatres delivering safe and effective practice.

Candidates need to show maturity, reliability, flexibility and be highly motivated individuals seeking a challenge and who thrive in a busy team environment - you must be committed to co-operative team working at all times.

Assist with the care and treatment of the patient whilst in the theatre department:
promoting patient safety, comfort, privacy, dignity and confidentiality.

To support the registered nurse and Operating Department Practitioner in
implementing an agreed plan of care in association with the patient and in
accordance with instructions and training received.

Maintain standards of infection control by adhering to policies and procedures and assisting with the maintenance of a clean clinical environment.

When necessary undertake collection and delivery of items within the Trust.

Escort patients and visitors around the theatre unit and the hospital.
