We perform over 300k examinations per year providing a 24 hour service for emergency procedures. The departments carry out a wide range of procedures including plain film radiography, barium studies, A/E Trauma, IVU’s, theatre, dental and interventional fluoroscopy.

As a department we are committed to providing a caring and supportive working environment.

The successful applicant will join the team booking appointments using the Radiology Information System (CRIS), inputting data, and informing patients and clinicians of appointment dates and times.

Appointments will be scheduled to ensure no breaches of waiting times, in accordance with local and national targets.

There will be a requirement to provide cover for the Radiology reception and to cover general admin duties in the Radiology Department during periods of leave.

We welcome applications from caring, flexible, enthusiastic and motivated individuals who wish to assist all aspects of this busy, varied and friendly Radiology department.

Our latest CQC report increased our ratings for being effective and well-led from ‘Requires Improvement’ to ‘Good’. Our rating for caring remained as ‘Good’.
