Achilleus Security are NOW looking to Recruit Event / Football SIA Licensed Door Supervisors in the Greater London Area for work at events and venues.
We are welcoming applications from people that would like to join us Achilleus Security as Part Time Casual Event / Football SIA Door Supervisors.
Our Event / Football Safety Team are the lifeblood of our company and a vital part of any event or venue's Security, Safety, and Customer Service Team. So, this position is only open to the right candidates, that have an enthusiasm and a desire to work, and those that can meet the company's strict recruitment criteria.
Our team members can also enjoy working at both inside and outdoor events and venues, throughout the Greater London Area and the Home Counties areas if they choose.
The type of work is varied and is as and when required.

Our team of Event / Football Safety & Security Team must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Spectator Safety Qualification (or equivalent) but don't worry if you don't have one yet as we will help and support you to gain that for free.)

Our Rates of Pay Are:
Event / Football Safety Stewards & SIA Licensed Door Supervisors Will Receive:
For team members that do not an NVQ (In Training) Level 2 in Spectator Safety
- Event / Football Security Search Teams - In Training with SIA Licence £12.66 per hour
- Event / Football Security - In Training with SIA DS Licence £13.39 per hour
- For Suitable Candidates In Training, There are SIA Response Team Positions £14.57 per hour
For team members that do hold NVQ or equivalent Level 2 in Spectator Safety
- Event / Football Security Search Teams - Qualified with SIA Licence £12.89 per hour
- Event / Football Security - Qualified with SIA Licence £14.00 per hour
- For Suitable Candidates, There are SIA Response Team Positions From Up to £15.13 per hour
All pay rates inclusive of holiday pay.

Applicants For This Position of Event / Football Safety & Security Team Members Must Be:
- Over 18 Years of age
- MUST Hold a Valid Current SIA Door Supervisors or Close Protection License
- Have a good command of the English Language both written and verbal
- Hold a Level 2 or 3 Spectator Safety Qualification or Equivalent or MUST be prepared to be working towards this qualification.
- Willing to work as part of a growing team.
- MUST BE Prepared to develop their skills for the role via Continued Professional Development with our support
- Any work offered in London or Home Counties will include free travel
- Applicants MUST BE Able To Provide:
- photographic proof of ID
- proof of right to work within the UK
- recent and relevant proofs of address
- MUST BE Able to provide a 5-year minimum checkable history – Vital Requirement!
- Aware that the role includes mostly weekend and evening shift availability
We pay above National Minimum Wage Rates, and pay rates are dependent on position, qualification, venue, and role, and 100% of the assignments offer a 5-hour minimum pay (call time), All our team members are employed on a PAYE Tax basis, and sadly due to HMRC Guidelines we do not except those that are Self Employed even with UTR number.
WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES
This role will see you as responsible within a for the safety and security of employees and customers at events and venues that we work at.
You will be interacting with the public and employees within the events spaces and locations, along with communicating and directing customers, the public and guests, along with general crowd control / monitoring. You are also responsible for ensuring event / stadium policies, rules and safety procedures are adhered to.
Regular Tasks & Duties Include:
- General Customer Services.
- Monitoring access and egress points.
- Providing Information and direction.
- Ensuring crowd safety plans and procedures are adhered to.
- Reporting any suspicious behaviour.
- Monitoring Crowds for distress, overcrowding and disorder.
- Ingress control – ticket validation, accreditation checks, and queries.
- Egress control – Observing safe egress from areas, including emergency evacuation.
- Reporting and recording details of accidents, irregularities, near misses, or incidents.
- Responding to accidents, incidents as directed.
- Maintaining safe working environments, and health and safety management.
