Receptionist - Temporary Full-Time- 3 Month Assignment
British Wool is a farmer run organisation which was established in 1950 to operate a central marketing system for fleece wool. We collect the most complex wool clip in the world from over 45,000 farms throughout the UK and prepare it for sale at electronic auction.
We are looking for an experienced front of house receptionist to support the British Wool team through our peak period. The successful candidate will report to the Member Services and Shearing Supervisor, providing a professional and friendly welcome to all staff and visitors, coupled with strong administration/communication skills. This is a full-time temporaryassignment which will commence 1st May 2023 to 28th July 2023.
We are ideally looking for someone with previous experience, you will be smart and well presented with an excellent telephone manner and a professional approach.

Responsibilities:
· Answer incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner,
screen calls accordingly
· Receive and greet visitors in a timely manner ensuring all relevant
information is provided
· Prepare incoming and outgoing mail correspondence on a daily basis
· Assist Member Services department with administration tasks
· Order, control and maintain stationery stock
· Assist upon request, other head office departments with general
administration
IDEALLY you will:
· Provide excellent administration and customer service skills
· Possess accurate data entry abilities, and good attention to detail is applied to
all aspects of role
· Experience in using Microsoft applications
· Able to work successfully on own initiative, but also a team player when
required
· Proficient at multi-tasking and organisation of duties
· Demonstrate excellent time keeping and attendance
Working Hours are: 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm, with half an hour unpaid lunch each day (42 hours per week).
Benefits: £10.50 to £11.00 per hour, a £350 assignment bonus is available, upon successfully undertaking the role and meeting all the role requirements for the three-month period. On site parking is available.
