What’s the role?
Join us to be a part of our exciting journey to implement our Kraft Heinz Management system throughout the whole of Kitt Green - One of our largest factories in the world! On site we have 8 different departments- each led by an Operations Manager.
You will report to the Operations Manager and work alongside a Maintenance Lead- Team Leaders- Engineers and Operators – as well as working cross-functionally with CI- Safety- Quality and more. Each department has a Process Improvement Lead- so as well as working as part of your department you will work collaboratively with fellow Process Improvement Leads to take us to the next stage on our KHMS journey. Key day to day activities include implementation of tools such as Centerlining and Problem Solving- as well as on the floor coaching with your team.
The ultimate goal is to drive our efficiency as we look to reduce our losses and create capability within our Operations team. There will be a need to spend a high amount of time within the production area- whilst also working to analyse losses and generate improvement plans through to delivery. You will be an integral part of the Daily and Weekly performance meetings and generating data for these; you will be key to the content and discussions within the meetings- whilst also agreeing and delivering actions from these processes.
What are we looking for?
To be successful in this role you will have a passion for Continuous Improvement and Manufacturing. It is a role that requires a high energy- an ability to influence others and a proven ability work well as a team. Experience within Manufacturing would be advantageous- and/or a degree or Apprenticeship in Engineering or Business improvement.
Training will be provided for the required tools- leadership and coaching.
