We’re recruiting an Activity Hub Coordinator to join our amazing team!
What happens at our Activity Hubs you may ask? Our trained team provide a comprehensive programme of social and creative activities for ex-offenders, both following release from prison and those serving community sentences. Our participants are invited to come and enjoy the support we offer to ensure they are well-equipped with the necessary skills and confidence they need to re-enter the community.
As our Hub Coordinator, you’ll be our chief organiser and be responsible for all aspects of setting up and overseeing our activities and projects. This will include ensuring that all hub activities are scheduled and delivered in accordance with participant needs and contractual requirements.
We’ll need your excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as we like to ensure a warm, welcoming hub environment, in which our participants are enabled to fulfil their potential. You’ll also need to be well-organised to co-ordinate our extensive programme of activities.
Our successful candidate will ideally have worked in the care/criminal justice sector before and have extensive administration experience. However, we appreciate that not everyone can tick every single box, just so long as you’re confident and comfortable working with a diverse range of people from a variety of backgrounds and circumstances.
This is a rewarding opportunity that will allow you to support and encourage our residents back into the community with the skills and confidence they need.
