A new opportunity has risen for an experienced kitchen assistant to join our Blooms Kitchen team. Here at Tong Garden Centre we go above and beyond in creating an exceptional dining experience. And so, we are now looking for someone to work alongside our team to deliver this great level of service. In this role you will be required to support the kitchen team to sure food service is speedy and to the highest levels of quality. This role is very fast paced, preparing up to 70 afternoon teas a day, whilst making trays of sandwiches, ensuring we have fresh salads always ready to go and replenishing food supplies as you go.
Successful candidate will be adaptable, a fast thinker and have excellent quality standards; ensuring our chefs have food readily prepared, whilst adhere to our health and safety standards, food hygiene practises and allergen requirements. As well as contributing to cleaning duties which are in place to keep our kitchen areas, impeccable and safe to work in.
The Kitchen Assistant position is a part time role, offering 22.25 hours per week. Successful applicant must be available to work alternating or every weekend.
