The person
We're seeking a creatively minded Strategist to join our dynamic team in Sheffield. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of strategic experience, with that enviable skill to articulate a business problem into a human one and put a plan together on how to solve it, simply, so everyone can get behind it.
They will be excited by brand and understand how brand and activation come together for the best results. They should be a well-rounded individual with a working knowledge of all channels. The candidate should be excited by and active on social media, curious about people and the world, and inspired by creativity. They should be analytical, data and detail-driven, and passionate about driving results. They should be a starter-finisher, who wants to see things through with a constant eye on the detail. They should be able to influence and inspire confidence and trust, happy to jump in, be flexible, and keen to work collaboratively, with internal teams and with our clients too.
The role
We’re a small but mighty team, no two tasks are days are the same, but we make a big difference to the brands we work with. Day-to-day work will involve the sharing of knowledge, and expertise and applying your skills, creativity and thinking to existing and new client work, through the development, delivery, and analysis of insight-led, multi-channel B2C and B2B campaigns. You will be responsible for insight mining, strategy writing, creative briefing, media- and partner-agency liaison, analysis, reporting and ongoing collaboration with the Client Services team, and you’ll be very involved with the client, continuing to challenge and provide answers to their challenges for the duration of the campaigns.
You will also have the opportunity to make a broader impact by supporting the ongoing education of the business, to generate a universal understanding of the value of insight and strategy to the creative and activation process to support our ‘strategy sell’.
WHAT SKILLS ARE REQUIRED?
· Proven track record developing strategy and delivering tactical campaigns in-house or agency side (2 year experience minimum)
· Broad understanding of the digital marketing landscape
· Experience working with senior-level brand, creative and channel specialists
· Experience supporting clients with KPI setting, and the analysis and reporting
· Experience using insight tools to build strong strategic platforms
· Experience running workshops with clients and their customers alike, including focus groups
· Excellent analytical skills and experience using data to drive decision-making
· Confident communication and compelling storytelling skills is essential
· Confident presenting to and working with senior management level clients and team members
· Proven record of leading, influencing, and inspiring clients and colleagues
· The flexibility to work with a wide range of sectors in both B2B and B2C
