Are you customer focussed, have a passion for working
with people, an interest in library services and communities and are tech
savvy?
As a Library Assistant you will support the delivery of
library and information services working alongside and supporting volunteers to
ensure a high quality service, support the delivery of activities and events,
assist customers to access online information and resources and encourage use
by a wide range of customers. Based at Selby Library you will also work at other
locations and be available for weekends and evenings. You will be passionate
about reading, have excellent communication skills, the ability to work with a
range of partners including volunteers, the ability to deliver a customer
focussed service, and have literacy, numeracy and ICT equivalent to Level
2.
