Customer Ambassadors - Scotland (Edinburgh and Glasgow)
We're on the hunt for outgoing, friendly, and customer-focused individual to join our new Customer Ambassador team.
It doesn't matter whether a customer is getting on or off one of ours train at a station we manage or one managed by another train operator, we want each and every one of our customers to have a great travelling experience with us.
That's why we're establishing our new Customer Ambassador teams, who'll be located at major stations across our network with the aim of delivering helpful, proactive, and memorable assistance for our customers, leaving them with a smile on their face as they go.
As a Customer Ambassador, you'll be based at a major station to represent TransPennine Express and be attentive to the needs of our customers, especially during times of disruption.
The roles will present daily variety and challenge as you help people with their different requirements, be that a customer who requires assistance to access the station or train, coordinating rail replacements, pointing customers to the correct places, or trying to reunite people with their lost property (it happens to us all!)
You'll receive all the training and ongoing support and supervision you need to do an amazing job for our customers.
The roles are fixed term for a year initially and present a rare yet exciting opportunity for anyone wanting to get their foot in the door in the railway industry. The locations we are recruiting for are as follows:
