The Bridge Hotel & spa is located in a tranquil country setting in the heart of Yorkshire, yet it is only five minutes’ drive from the A1 and the motorway network and near to Wetherby race course.
Leeds/Bradford is just 8 miles away and York, Knaresborough and Harrogate are all within a short drive from The Bridge, one of the finest hotels in West Yorkshire. Well-known attractions such as Newby Hall, Fountains Abbey, Lightwater Valley, and the North Yorkshire Dales are easily accessible from the hotel.
The Bridge Hotel & Spa is a unique venue which has recently undergone a refurbishment programme with 37 bedrooms, wonderful conference & banqueting facilities and a very successful non-residential restaurant trade as well as a newly opened spa. Ideally placed in Wetherby we are located close to the historic city of York, the spa town of Harrogate and the commercial centre of Leeds.
Kitchen porter main duties are to clean the kitchen and surrounding areas to a high standard. This will include general kitchen prep, washing up, opening and closing procedures in the kitchen, and ensuring the general cleaning standards are upheld.
Working hours are usually a mix of daytime shifts and evening shifts
The ideal candidate should be fully flexible with the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team. All training will be given where needed.
There are a number of training & development opportunities available for candidates to assist our chefs, learning more about food preparation & service – and being enrolled on sponsored training and qualifications.
THIS ROLE INCLUDES WEEKENDS.
