Your role as a Cleaner:
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking people, who have a keen eye for detail and excellent customer service skills who will take pride in their work and who enjoy cleaning in a variety of areas.
Based at Portland Building, duties will include the cleaning of wide range of areas and spaces and providing both general and specialised cleaning within the building and commercial outlets at Portland Coffee and Mooch Bar and providing excellent customer service at all times. This position entails providing both planned and reactive cleaning service across the building and supporting the local cleaning team with covering holidays, sickness, deep cleaning, and events at Portland Building when these areas are closed out of term.
Previous cleaning experience gained within a similar environment and the ability to work independently and as part of a team is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

Available Posts:
Post 1: Hours of work are 17.5 per week, 5 days out of 7 to be arranged (mainly Monday to Friday between 6.00am and 09.30am) Flexibility will be required.
Post 2: Hours of work are 7 per week, 2 days out of 7 to be arranged (mainly Saturday and Sunday between 6.00am and 09.30am) Flexibility will be required.

The successful candidate for this post will be expected to attend the Estates and Facilities training courses which will run each day, Monday to Friday mornings.
