Information Solutions is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to join our team as an IT Support Technician. Candidates must have proven technical support experience and associated qualifications.
Job Purpose
IT Support staff work in a dynamic environment which provides services over the phone, through e-mail and in person across a number of sites.
Main duties
- To diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents.
- To install and configure new IT equipment.
- To assist users with IT related incidents when called upon.
- To take ownership of issues by carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes with the aim of restoring service to the customer as soon as possible.
- To maintain a first class level of customer service ensuring that all customers are treated efficiently and in an appropriate manner.
Required Skills
- Office 365 admin and setup
- Experience of desktop operating systems
- Experience with backup technologies and routines.
- Knowledge of antivirus and firewall products.
- Windows server operating systems, ideally with knowledge of Active Directory
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
