York CF2 Warehouse
Salary: Salary - £43,549 PA plus companywide benefits
Shift Patterns to expect –

Morning Shift 05:50 – 14:00
Afternoon Shift 13:50 – 22:00
Night Shift 21:50 – 06:00

The combination of these shifts will total 230 shifts per year, of which 3 are bank holidays, 5 are Sunday mornings and 32 are weekends

Position Summary

Within our York team we are looking for a Key Holder, this is someone who will Support the achievement of Warehouse KPI's and shift objectives daily. Supporting the Warehouse Team leader and providing direction to Warehouse operatives to ensure efficient operation of the store.

A day in the life of a Key Role Holder

This exciting opportunity will include but not limited to ….
  • Work flexibly and safely to ensure the store operates efficiently meeting all business targets.
  • Be responsible for your own Health and Safety and the safety of others working on site, always adhere to safe working practices and Site regulations.
  • Achieve at least competent level in C4L performance reviews in all 5 competencies for the role.
  • Ensure no substandard product leaves the warehouse and that customer delivery failures are minimised by paying attention to quality and taking responsibility for every outer that is received, picked, and despatched from CF2.
  • Ensure that the levels of cleanliness and housekeeping within the warehouse are maintained.
  • To follow all NQMS procedures as per Nestle Logistics Quality Manual.
  • Continuity of work between shifts ensuring effective and detailed handover to oncoming team and minimising operational downtime.
  • To perform effectively in all areas of the warehouse you are required to operate in resolving issues as they arise and communicate to Team leader and Warehouse Operatives about these issues.
  • Liaise with Team leaders, Customer Service, Traffic and Scheduling about issues that will affect smooth operation of the warehouse in a timely manner.
  • Promote team working within the warehouse and across associated functions.
  • To challenge and improve working practices to drive Continuous improvement
  • Act as Fire Sweepers in the event of a fire call.

  • Forklift truck licence
  • Knowledge of Autostore WMS and scheduling systems
  • Good working knowledge of the Warehouse operation
  • Nestle Quality training
  • Initiative to be able to work without supervision and to prioritise own and shift workload.
