The Canon UK Inventory Controllers support a workforce of 300+ field engineers and stock placements across the UK and Ireland.
The team manage the supply, stock holding and return of spare parts and support services to enable our service operations to provide excellent customer satisfaction and retention whilst maintaining budgetary controls.
This is an office-based role using a PC with generic and proprietary software systems

As a Spares Inventory Controller, you will be required to;
-
Manage the car-stock levels to ensure that the servicing levels set are met within the tolerances.

Process and progress spare parts orders to and from third party suppliers
-
Monitor regular replenishments, RTF orders and urgent orders regarding frequency, timeliness and completeness.

Follow up missing shipments, wrong shipments and missing parts internally and externally

Facilitate stock taking, correct stock differences record and results

Manage and process the return of good and repairable stock from the field.

Troubleshoot parts orders and take steps to prevent re-occurrence of issues

The successful applicant will ideally have previous Spares/Parts and logistics support experience from an engineering, manufacturing, or technology background. We are keen to hear from candidates who have gained strong Customer Service skills from an internal or external administrative role, who can transfer their skill set into a busy Spares department. As an individual it is essential that you can demonstrate the ability to multi-task, prioritize and communicate well with others, and take autonomy of your job role.

Must have a good working knowledge of MS-Word and MS-Outlook.

Proficient in MS Excel and advanced skills beneficial.

Self-motivated individual who is confident dealing with people at all levels.

Salary – £21,435-£22,625 + 5% Bonus scheme
Location – Coalville Leicestershire.
