Job Description
As a management graduate, you have been equipped with a wide theoretical understanding of business processes, operational management and people management. Our goal now is to take that knowledge and help you develop the practical understanding and ability of how they are all applied in the real business setting.
As such, we are seeking 3 driven and motivated Junior Operations Managers to oversee our day-to-day operations and ensure that all aspects of our business run smoothly. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of employees, coordinating with other departments, and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and productivity. You will report to the Director of Operations and work closely with other members of the management team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of employees, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Coordinate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and finance, to ensure that all business operations are aligned and running smoothly
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to senior management
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure that operations are cost-efficient
- Ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements are met
- Provide regular reports to senior management on operational performance and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field
- Proven experience as an operations manager or in a similar role
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and manage teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices
