Job Description
A market leading gift company with a track record of 25 years of successful trading is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to head up its national and international sales efforts. The company itself is renowned for quality service, a high performing, impulse purchase range and product innovation. They have a great team of friendly staff, both internal and externally based.
The Field Sales Team is a mixture of employed sales representatives and sales agent and international sales are via established distributor partnerships. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all of this team.
The Senior Sales Manager will also manage the relationships with the company’s existing base of national accounts, introducing new lines to them and ensuring sales from existing ranges are optimised. In addition, he/she will be responsible for pioneering new national clients.
The Senior Sales Manager will also be responsible for managing a sales territory based around their home location.
The role will be home based with regular visits to the company's offices based in the South West of England.
Experience of selling into at least one of the gift /garden centre/tourist attraction/card shop sectors is essential.
Other key skills required are;
- Management of a sales team
- Experience of working with national accounts
- Good IT skills
Salary Circa £55k plus commission plus company car and the standard business tools.
