We're recruiting for a Self-Employment Advisor, you'll be responsible for providing advice and support to guide and encourage participants to overcome barriers to start self-employment and achieve realistic job goals.
What is a Self-Employment Advisor? The role holder will be expected to support a caseload of participants, supporting them in self-employment, offering advice and direction to enable participants to access the support they need, and collection evidence of Self Employment.
You’ll be involved in re-building participant confidence; you'll need to be a motivator and have patience to encourage the candidate to identify self-employment business opportunities. You’ll deliver a positive experience to new customers, ensuring they engage with you and the programme by maintaining regular contact.
Our ideal candidate must have empathy and compassion as well to being able to identify the customers needs. If you have come from a background of recruitment, sales or even employability with a good understanding of self-employment, then we need you!!
As an organisation we deliver a range of Employability & Health contracts which support unemployed people ‘back to work’. This job role forms part of our Restart Scheme.
In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we're offering a competitive salary range of
£26,500 - £29, 545 per annum (dependent on experience) with these great additional benefits:

Location: Mid Devon & Somerset – to be based in Bridgwater you will be required to cover all the offices in Taunton, Minehead, Wells, Frome, Yeovil, WSM
Hours: 37 hours a week. Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 5pm, Friday 8.30 am to 4.30pm
