Job Description An exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of our Quality and Safety team as a Patient Safety Partner. As a patient safety partner (PSP) you will be actively involved in the design of safer healthcare at all levels in the organisation. Previous applicants need not apply. For example: Sitting on relevant committees to support compliance monitoring and how safety issues should be addressed Providing appropriate challenge to ensure learning and change The development and implementation of relevant strategy and policy. University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust is one of the largest and most modern in the country. We serve around three million people and we’re highly regarded for our facilities, teaching and research. The Trust has around 1,450 inpatient beds across two sites in Stoke-on-Trent and Stafford. The Patient Safety Partner should ensure that any committee/group of which they are a member considers and prioritises the service user, patient, carer and family perspective and champions a diversity of views.
