We're looking for a skilled, friendly and motivated technician to join our vending machine repair team. The ideal candidate has the ability to think on their feet, communicate clearly and is comfortable working in a busy environment. Good communication skills are required for this position, as our technicians must be able to communicate with both customers and the rest of the repair team in order to quickly identify and resolve problems.
You will be working on a variety of vending machines, but primarily the role focuses on hot and cold drinks machines and snack/food machines.
These machines comprise of various electrical and electronic components. Motors, water valves, water heaters, circuit boards etc. Previous experience is not necessary but desirable. Previous employees have come from various backgrounds - retired washing machine engineers to those with no relevant experience but competetant with various electrical and mechanical components. In-house training will be provided.
We are offering a VERY flexible part time position that will suit those candidates with other interests/commitments in life.
Standard working hours are 9am-3pm Mon-Fri but we are flexible on days and hours.
The job will be based in our workshop, with visits to customer premises for on-site repairs.
This may be a job that would perfectly suit a retired person who wants something interesting and challenging to do.
