About you
To protect the UK, we need people with different perspectives and backgrounds. To join the Intelligence Officer Development Programme (IODP), you’ll have (or be expecting) a 2:2 degree or above in any degree discipline or have work experience where you have obtained some of the key skills and qualities required for the role. But no matter your experience so far, you’ll get lots of dedicated support when you join.
Here are some key characteristics we look for in our Intelligence Officers:
- Good teamwork and collaboration skills
- Very organised with a great eye for detail
- Naturally curious and a love of problem solving
- Strategic with the ability to plan for different outcomes
- Analytical and able to make links between different pieces of information
- Honesty and integrity
- A desire to learn and grow
