Job Description
we are currently looking to hire a Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. The Dispenser will be responsible for preparing prescribed items accurately and efficiently, ready for the pharmacist to sign off. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience working in a busy pharmacy and hold and NVQ2 in dispensing.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare prescribed items.
- Perform clerical duties required for running a pharmacy.
- Stock shelves with appropriate pharmaceuticals.
- Preparing dossette boxes for patients.
- Greet customers as they enter the pharmacy.
- Confidently dealing with customer queries over the phone
- Serving customers (when needed) and providing over the counter healthcare advice and knowing when to refer to the pharmacist
- Promoting pharmacy services to customers

Essential experience:
- 1+ year pharmacy experience
- NVQ level 2
- Precision - preparing prescriptions with accuracy
- Maintaining your work environment
- Managing pharmacy stock
