Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Sales Executive to join the busy Sales team at our Lloyd Jaguar Land Rover, York Retailer.

As a Trainee Sales Executive, you will be responsible for aspects of the sales process:

  • Meeting and greeting customers.
  • Rotates through several sales office functions to learn sales administration.
  • Keeps track of the sales process by aiding sales professionals with new business acquisition.
  • Call existing and new clients to practice and test sales methods.
  • Maintains and develops client relationships.
  • Assists customers by offering them with information such as price quotes for products or services.
  • Assists sales agents with additional administrative tasks.
  • Keeps track of sales and sends a copy to the sales staff.
  • Participates in educational training to keep up to speed on job knowledge.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal Trainee Sales Executive will hold the following skills and experiences:

  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact at all levels.
  • Well-presented and capable of engaging and developing positive connections with current and new customers.
  • Enthusiastic person with a drive to learn and develop
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • An interest for cars is also beneficial
  • Full UK Driver's licence is required

Hours: 5 out of 7 days per week
