Executive Head Chef - New Ulster 4* Hotel
My client, a new 4* Hotel in Ulster is seeking an experienced Exec Head Chef to join their Opening team. The successful applicant will have a strong background in Luxury 4* or 5* Hotels preferably with experience in a Pre-Opening property. You will oversee the day-to-day culinary operations, including training, supervising staff, and monitoring food quality. They are seeking a hands-on proactive manager capable of leading and motivating a team of talented Chefs who has a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar Senior Chef role
The Candidate:
- Previous experience in a similar senior role in a Luxury 4* or 5* Hotel environment
- Pre-Opening Experience
- A Team Player, excellent Staff Developer, and innovative Team leader
- Should have an understanding & knowledge of compiling wage forecasts, rosters, monthly stock control & budgeting, team training, cost control management, and managing HACCP.
- Should excel and exceed in the delivery of exceptional food whilst maintaining consistency.
- Be an ambitious person responsible for creating an environment that promotes employee morale and encourages the team to have pride and commitment to their work.
- Excellent Communication, Organisational, and Leadership Skills
- Have the ability to handle multiple tasks including volume production with an eye for detail and presentation.
- Stay up to date with the latest culinary trends
- Ensure that the Operational budgets are in line and costs are strictly controlled
