Description
Flarebright is seeking a marketing enthusiast to join the growing team as a Digital Marketing Apprentice to help with the updating and progression of the company's vision.
As Flarebright continues to grow, we are gaining more customers, stakeholders and investors. We are also attending more events. We therefore need support to manage these people, organisations and events, and our messages, brochureware and video content needs updating as we progress technically and launch new products.
Entry requirements
The Role:
The role is to help with all outward facing communications and events, including video production, newsletters, some basic customer contact, and preparing for the Conferences and Exhibitions our company attends. You will work closely with the CCO (Chief Commercial Officer) and Marketing Team, supporting them in all aspects of the marketing and commercial department. This will include:
- Helping prepare customer communications, including regular video content, newsletters, and investor presentations
- Ensuring all brochureware and video content is produced to the highest standard.
- Marketing/branding/promotion/events– support associated activities such as writing press releases, posts, or blogs and lead projects where required.
- Preparing and organising for Events, Demonstrations we are asked to undertake, Conferences and Exhibitions.
We work in defence as well as commercial and ‘blue light’ sectors, so you must be comfortable working within the defence industry, and be eligible to work in the UK. We have a preference for those who will be able to work on sensitive defence projects due to nationality (typically UK, NATO or Australia and New Zealand). Due to the security classification on the work we do, we will undertake a routine Baseline Personnel Security Standard check on the successful applicant. This is a standard process which includes references and career history checks.
Skills required:
- Effective computer skills with familiarity of Microsoft and Google Packages
- Effective communication skills (written and spoken)
- Effective organisation and attention to detail
- Good maths and English skills
- A driving licence would be beneficial due to the location of the role.
Training to be provided
GCSE Maths and English Grade C/4 or above.
