We are currently recruiting for a Flexi Bank Care Assistant. As one of the largest healthcare providers in the UK it’s important to us to couple great care with meaningful and enjoyable experiences.
As a Flexi Bank Care Assistant you will work across a number of care homes, which is to cover absence, holiday and maternity leave. You will be expected to work at different homes, which can span up to a 30 miles radius.
As a Flexi Bank Care Assistant you will be:
- Delivering quality personal care to each of our residents
- Supporting them with daily activities such as washing, dressing, eating and maintaining personal hygiene
- Providing care, warmth and kindness to help make a difference
- Developing relationships with relatives to help support you in understanding their needs and developing the personal care

Astell Care Centre is ideally located in Newcastle's Walker area and is close to amenities, shops, public transport and the coast road.
The centre provides nursing care for people who live with more complex medical needs, whilst offering residential care for those who need support with everyday activities such as washing, dressing or eating, as well as keeping on top of taking medications.
Nursing and residential care is also provided for those living with dementia. The centre operates specialist units to support residents with learning difficulties or mental health conditions.
