Job Description

We are looking for someone to join our Acute Therapy teams.

The role is to provide assistance to the therapy staff in organising and delivering efficient, effective patient care.

This post will include some clinical activity assisting the therapy staff with patient treatments, but is primarily involved in clerical and administration duties directly supporting the therapy team.

This post is based at Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby working primarily on the acute medicine wards and in the therapy department.

The candidate must have good communication and interpersonal skills. They will be expected to be involved in supporting the therapists with treatment programs, data collection, ordering equipment and accompanying therapists on home visits. Duties will also include non-clinical administrative duties such as collating information and
maintenance/delivery of equipment to support the team with delivering the service.

We provide in-service training, CPD and appraisal.

The post is a permanent 37.5 hour per week contract and may suit someone who is already experienced in this area of rehabilitation or someone who is looking to start a career in the NHS.

This will include carrying out delegated clinical work with patients, administrative and clerical duties within the service area.
