We are looking to recruit an experienced business support assistant to provide purchasing and financial support to our busy IMT teams.
The successful candidate will be part of a small team that takes responsibility for providing support for the purchasing of IT related hardware and software as required by internal and external customers.
The successful applicant will be expected to work closely with other staff within the team to accurately recharge goods and services provided to customers and recover costs where applicable.
The post will be based in the IMT Technical Programme and Resources Team which delivers contract and purchasing management, project and programme management for both business projects and customer requests. We work closely with the corporate procurement team to ensure that all the current and proposed ICT contracts and projects are transitioned appropriately into operational service.
The ability to work effectively on your own initiative and as part of a team is essential.
