Established Helicopter Maintenance company in the Milton Keynes area are seeking an experienced and hard-working trainee Technical Records Administrator to join their fast paced, exciting team, working alongside and reporting to the Technical Records Officer and the Airworthiness Manager, providing administrative support on a full time permanent basis.
N.B. Own transport required due to remote location
The ideal candidate will be responsible for scanning and filing of airworthiness documentation and inputting of aircraft data. This is a unique opportunity for someone to come into an aviation environment and learn all aspects of Technical Records. They will be closely linked to the Technical Records Officer to allow mentoring and development through supervised training and competency checks to allow for development within the Continuing Airworthiness environment. Ultimately, leading to the accurate recording of maintenance tasks and components on the aircraft and component log cards.
Key Responsibilities:
-Scanning of work packs into the Technical Records filing system
-Filing the airworthiness records into their prospective aircraft folders
-Managing the storage of technical records
-Inputting of technical data
Development into:
-Updating and recording the aircraft and component log cards from maintenance work packs
-Collaborating with the technical records officer and team
-Monitoring the aircraft and maintenance records for compliance with regulatory requirements
-Liaise with Type Engineers and maintenance personnel on issues relating to the aircraft
-Investigating and resolving record discrepancies arising
-Collaborating with the CAMO team
Experience:
-An enthusiastic individual wanting to expand their horizons into rotary airworthiness records
-An individual who is determined, has a keen interest in the aviation industry and a passion to enter the aviation sector
-Knowledge of aviation an advantage, but not essential
Skills:
-IT Literate
-Professional level of writing, reading and speaking
-Good numeracy skills
-Understanding and complying with company procedures (regulatory, operational, quality, safety)
-Good organisational skills
-Attention to detail
-Excellent communicator
