Job Description
Sands Resort Hotel is recruiting for a new team member to join their friendly Reception Team for the forthcoming season until the end of September 2023.
As our full time receptionist you will be required to work 5 shifts out of 7 to include evenings and weekends. As our part-time receptionist you will be required to work up to three shifts a week (Friday, Saturday and Sunday with shift pattern to be confirmed).
Earliest start time for both positions is 8am with latest finish being 11pm.
Key responsibilities:
As our receptionist you will be the first point of contact for hotel and day guests and will be well presented and have a warm and welcoming manner as well as excellent communication skills.
You must be comfortable dealing with guests and hotel staff, as you will assist with varied guest requirements throughout the day including check-in, check-out and reservations.
High standards of spoken and written communication and a good standard of numeracy are required to ensure all relevant documentation is carried out accurately and efficiently.
The ideal candidate:
- A minimum of 1 year reception and reservations experience, additional training will be provided.
- Experienced in using Hotel Perfect preferable.
- A great eye for detail.
- Well-organised.
- Available to work weekends and evenings
