You will be an integral part of our Technical team and will provide engineering and technical support throughout the whole lifecycle of all sites ensuring opportunities for value engineering are identified and fulfilled. You will work a par of a matrix project team across the business to deliver sites to the agreed business standards and targets.
The successful candidate will have significant experience of working as part of a technical team, preferably in a new housebuilder. You will be self motivate with a keen eye for detail and have a continuous improvement mindset, you will be aligned to our values and be ready to work in a business where we really value the input and contribution you can make to our future.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the required level of technical control is in place within the department
- Control of information for all engineering processes from appraisal to completion and close out in accordance with business targets and programmes
- Ensure consultant engineers are briefed and appointed in accordance with the appraisal plan with agreed dates for information delivery
- Provide accurate costings during appraisal process and control of cost during the development process
- Manage and monitor the processes to procure utilities
- Review site works to monitor for uneconomical designs and where necessary provide alternative solutions through value engineering
- Review, coach and mento junior members of the team and coach others in the engineering aspects of the role
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience working as part of a technical team, preferably in a new housebuilder
- Ability to work as part of a team and under own initiative
- Demonstrate high levels of attention to detail
- Ability to support others through coaching and mentoring
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
