A new and exciting role in Doncaster (Finningley) perfect for a multi skilled Operations Manager or hands on Project Manager looking for their next role!
A highly profitable SME with a turnover of £6.5m, based near Sheffield Airport, are looking to expand the business further. Due to continued growth, there is now a need for a highly skilled Operations Manager to come on board and take ownership of in house operations, making sure they are organised safely and to the maximum cost effectiveness and profitability. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Willing to travel is essential
- Ability to manage multiple projects accurately and timely
- Comfortable with using multiple IT systems
- H&S understanding / qualification is highly desirable
The role will include:
- Accountable for H&S of the business and its operations
- Accountable for coordinating and managing buyer collections including booking in buyers and creating collection schedules
- Accountable for booking in collections and creating collection collection schedules
- Accountable for running and management of warehouse operations
- Accountable for maintaining an accurate and up to date stock system in conjunction with finance
- Accountable for project lead, ensuring the project sheets are completed to the appropriate timelines, understanding of project costs
- Accountable Facebook market place and Ebay
- Managing and building relationships with subcontractors and third party partners such as logistics companies and machinery movers
- Creating a rate card and partnership agreements with third party partners for things such as transport
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
