Job Description

The Centre for Teaching and Learning supports the academic development of teaching and learning in line with agreed institutional priorities for education and in partnership with students and colleagues in academic divisions and professional services. Your work will focus on the educational priority to support students’ transitions into and through their studies at Oxford.
This role has been created to manage and coordinate a new collaborative project to support students’ academic skills development. This is an exciting project which involves the Centre for Teaching and Learning, the Language Centre, the Disability Advisory Service, the Department for Continuing Education, as well as academic departments, faculties and colleges. You will be responsible for the managing and driving delivery of the workstreams of the Academic Skills Development project, which includes professional development courses, special interest groups, a resources hub, college support and evaluation.
We are looking for an individual who will work proactively with academics and professional services departments, building relationships with workstream leads and liaising with other project staff across the collegiate university to develop a detailed project plan and evaluation framework. You will support the workstream leads to identify their expected outputs and outcomes and engage with their stakeholders and evaluators. The role will also involve servicing meetings, organising processes for secure storage of documents, managing and tracking budgets, and preparing reports on activities and finances to relevant committees.
Applicants must apply online and include a CV and supporting statement addressing the selection criteria. The supporting statement must explain how you meet each of the selection criteria for the post using examples of your skills and experience. This may include experience gained in employment, education, or during career breaks, such as time out to care for dependents.
This is a 1FTE post, fixed-term until 31 July 2025.
The closing date for applications is noon Wednesday, 19 April 2023.
