POST: Cleaner
LOCATION: Doncaster
GRADE: 1; £11.76 per hour (£21,402 FTE)
HOURS: 4 hours per week
Key Purpose
To provide a cleaning service throughout Project 6 premises, developing routines that ensure all areas of the organisation are maintained to a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness. To maintain strict levels of confidentiality.
Main Duties:
· To clean offices, washroom and toilet facilities, public and staff areas as required, maintaining high standards of hygiene.
· To vacuum carpeted areas including stairs and clean/mop hard flooring.
· To clean kitchen areas including fridges and microwaves as required.
· Tidy and dust rooms. · Clean internal glass and doors.
· To empty and clean bins and remove waste to designated refuse areas, recycling where possible and appropriate.
· To replenish paper towels and toilet paper.
· Reorder consumables with administrative staff.
· Keep cleaning resources tidy and in good working order.
· To inform admin staff of necessary repairs when identified.
· To ensure buildings are locked and secure upon leaving.
· To maintain personal health and safety and report any issues.
· To prioritise tasks into weekly and monthly actions.
· Occasional deep cleaning of carpets as required.
