Midday Supervisor - positions available across the Trust - Summer 2023
Salary : Grade 1C/3 scale points 2 - 6 (£12.59 ph) for outer London schools.
Example Salaries:
- Actual annual salary based on 5 hours per week: £2,748
- Actual annual salary based on 7.08 hours per week: £3,893
FTE from £23,628 per annum
New entrants are expected to join on the minimum of the pay band. Dependent on candidate experience.
Contract: Term time only, permanent, fixed term & casual roles available
Days: Monday to Friday - times & hours will vary depending on site

- Cheam Common Infants Academy, Balmoral Road, Worcester Park, KT4 8SS
- Cheam Common Junior Academy, Kingsmead Avenue, Worcester Park, KT4 8UT
- Cheam Fields Primary Academy, Stoughton Avenue, Cheam, SM3 8PQ
- Cheam Park Farm Primary Academy, Kingston Avenue, North Cheam, SM3 9UE (KS2)
- Cheam Park Farm Primary Academy, Molesey Drive, North Cheam, SM3 9UU (EYFS & KS1)
- Manor Park Primary Academy, Greyhound Road, Sutton, SM1 4AW
- Shawley Community Primary Academy Shawley Way, Epsom, KT18 5PD
The successful candidate(s) will be enthusiastic and form part of our teams in supervising the children during the lunch period. This is an exciting and varied role and is an ideal opportunity for anyone wishing to explore a career in working with children.
You will:
- Be able to organise activities at lunchtime which engage the children and are enjoyable
- Be able to supervise children’s lunches, promoting health and safety in a calm and sociable environment
- Be able to work as part of a team, have good communication skills, be enthusiastic, fair and kind. It will be beneficial if you have previous experience of working with children.
The successful candidate(s) will enjoy a varied daily routine as part of a team. The list below will offer an idea of what else is to be expected, although it is not exhaustive.
- Work in EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
- Work closely with staff in assisting in the day-to-day running of the school.
- Work with small groups of children on reinforcement and enrichments tasks.
- Work 1:1 with pupils who have additional needs.
- Provide supervisory support and assistance both in the dining and outside areas.
