Hay Lodge Community Hospital provides an inpatient service predominately for older people comprising of rehabilitation, palliative and end of life care.
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Registered Nurse who would like to be part of a friendly and supportive team with an ethos of continuous improvement. The post holder must be a confident decision maker, be able to work without direct supervision and supervise registered and/or unregistered staff, as well as student nurses.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will have responsibility for the assessment of needs and the delivery of high quality person-centred care to patients. They will also work with the team to coordinate complex discharges.
The post holder must be flexible and able to work days or nights on the ward.

Please note: the salary quoted is for full-time hours (37.5 hrs per week). For appointments to part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rata.
Final year nursing students are welcome to apply if you are to graduate and obtain NMC registration later this year. If you wish you can commence as a Band 4 Health Care Support Worker pending NMC registration.
Overseas Nurses are welcome to apply if you have confirmation from the UK Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) that you are eligible to sit the practical test of competence (OSCE) to apply to join their professional register and they have issued you with an NMC PRN number.
