Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks a year

The Kingsmead Schools are designed to educate and support some of the most vulnerable young people in Derby. Expectations and aspirations in school are high and you will support the schools’ Vision and Values.
Ideally you will have experience of working in a busy school environment and be familiar with financial administration processes in an education setting.
We are looking for someone who:
- can understand and interpret financial data and prepare and present reports for a variety of stakeholders.
- has experience of budget monitoring ranging from the ordering process through to invoice payment and reconciliations.
- can forecast future trends from previous data and adapt to known upcoming changes.
- is able to work independently to deadlines and timeframes which may change.
- is confident and comfortable working independently and travelling in and around the city, across a variety of different sites when needed.
- can support the Data and Exams officer when required.
- has varied experience of MS office and school MIS.
- consistently upholds Kingsmead values, will go the extra mile, never give up and work as part of a team to provide the best educational experience for our young people.
To be successful in this post you should have experience working in or with schools and be able to demonstrate your confidence in applying excellent administrative and organisational skills to manage your workload.
Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families has a role to play in safeguarding children. All Governors, staff, trainees and volunteers have a responsibility and role to play to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. Staff members will maintain an attitude of “it could happen here” where safeguarding is concerned.
This position involves substantial access to Children and is therefore subject to an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for any previous criminal convictions or safeguarding issues.
