TDS are currently looking to recruit an HR Administrator for a 6 month contract.
What do we do?
We safeguard tenants’ deposits throughout the United Kingdom, and offer a free dispute resolution mechanism in the event of dispute over its return.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced administrator to join an existing team of 3 to add additional resource and support. You will need to be confident and able to work on your initiative, and handle a range of different tasks simultaneously, whilst being able to demonstrate common sense and judgement.
What does the role involve?
- Supporting the HR department on all HR administration duties relating to employees;
- Recording all holiday and sickness absence on current the HR system;
- Providing support as necessary for business focused recruitment administration. This will include setting up interviews, job board administration, correspondence with candidates and updating/maintaining recruitment spreadsheets;
- Scanning of HR documents;
- Providing regular, timely, accurate and relevant management information in line with agreed requirements or as requested;
- Ensuring telephone, post and email enquiries are dealt with to a high professional standard in a timely manner;
- Appropriate use and management of HR information, in particular with reference to GDPR;
NB: No job description can be entirely comprehensive, and the jobholder will be expected to carry out such other duties as may be required from time to time and are broadly consistent with the job description and status of the post within the organisation.
Am I the right person?
The right person for this role will have:
- At least 1-2 years office administration experience;
- Experience of working within an HR department desirable;
- Good administration and time management skills;
- Good attention to detail:
- Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint & Outlook.
You will also be able to present information clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. You must also possess good interpersonal skills, communicating effectively in order to advise and inform colleagues, TDS members and other stakeholders;

An A-level or equivalent level education is essential.

Please note that we operate a hybrid working policy. This means that you must be able to commit to working 2 days a week in our offices in Hemel Hempstead.
The full time equivalent salary for this salary is £21,935. This will be pro rated dependent on the hours that you work. However each month you will get an additional £150 payment to help with the cost of living crisis.
