Job Description
We're looking for someone with a happy & smiley disposition to support the clients mother with the care of her autistic son and assist with housekeeping duties. His needs are minimal as he attends a day care centre Monday to Friday 9am - 4pm. The care support would be required for either end of the day on weekdays and alternate weekends. When the support isn't being provided for the care element of the role, we would be looking for someone to fill the rest of the time as a housekeeper.
Care Duties: Prepare breakfast and occasional meals, help with getting to and from day care, trips out with the mother and son in the week or at the weekends, organising activities, such as crafts etc.
Housekeeping Duties: There is currently a cleaning company that attend on Monday each week to do a deep clean, so it would be general cleaning and tidying at both dwellings including; cleaning & organisation of the house, laundry, ironing, food prep & basic cooking, run errands, food shopping, change beds, let dogs out, empty bins, take rubbish out, occasional driving duties, load/unload dishwasher, wardrobe & cupboard organisation. 7 bedroom & 7 bathroom property. The property is a modern equestrian property comprising of 2 separate dwellings next door to each other
Cleaning products and vacuum will be provided.
Work Hours: Monday - Friday (8.30am - 5.00pm) and alternate weekends (8.30am-5.00pm) with days off in lieu of weekends worked.
Must like dogs as the owner has a very friendly Labrador.
DBS check is essential
