Data Administrator - Ebill
Position Description:
The Data Administrator will be responsible for the processing of consolidated invoicing, consumption, and metering data into our bespoke database. They will analyse account statements, liaise with utility suppliers and clients to resolve complex debt issues.
The role suits an experienced data administrator or an admin assistant looking to take the next step up in their career. The successful candidate will be driven with a keen eye for detail. They will be a confident communicator with the ability to manage queries through to resolution, ensuring that deadlines are met. Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, the Data Administrator is adept in the analysis of large data sets.
This position presents a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join our commercial operations team and play an important part in our continued commercial success.
Your Responsibilities:
- Managing the monthly influx of invoices, downloading the utility invoice data, validating and then uploading the consumption data into the company database
- Maintaining the Client assigned Inboxes and coordinating correspondences with Utility suppliers when required to ensure data completeness and integrity within customer account history
- Supporting the management of the Ebill calendar; ensuring invoices are updated with expected billing timelines
- Meeting challenging yet realistic KPI and SLA surrounding the processing of invoices
- Identifying and documenting opportunities to improve processes and co-ordinating with internal stakeholders to drive such improvements
- Providing administrative support to other departments as required
Your skills and background:
- Advanced excel skills
- Knowledge of programs such as Phython / SQL / VBA would be advantageous
- Experience in working to targets and delivering work within SLA
- Confident entering information into a database to a high degree of accuracy
- A proven track record of resolving queries and issues, both internally and externally
- Demonstrable strategic reasoning skills with the ability to think creatively to develop non-traditional solutions to business challenges
- Knowledge of the commercial and industrial sector and the provision of energy services into those markets would be advantageous
- Excellent inter-personal and verbal communication skills, with a high degree of literacy and numeracy
- Takes pride in their attention to detail and can function under pressure when required
- A confident and effective communicator with the ability to prioritise different tasks
- Enjoys working with numbers and familiar with repeated data entry tasks
- Resilience with an ability to overcome objections and disappointment
- Willingness to pitch in and support other business areas as needed

Salary:
Salary band 2 £20,000 - £24,960 p/a DOE
